We’re Dom & Nelena,
a husband and wife team based in Illinois. Our life together is rooted in creativity, family, and a shared appreciation for the beauty found in everyday moments.
Our approach to wedding photography is grounded in connection. We’re drawn to the emotional undercurrent of a wedding day the subtle, unscripted moments that hold the most meaning. The way it feels, not just how it looks.
We photograph with intention. Not to document every detail, but to preserve what matters most: your relationships, your energy, your presence within it all.
Before the wedding, we take the time to understand you what you value, what you want to remember, and what you never want to lose sight of. This foundation allows us to create images that are not only refined, but deeply personal.
We're based in Illinois and travel regularly for weddings throughout the Midwest — most often to Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, though we've packed our bags for couples far beyond the region too.
If your wedding is outside Illinois, travel is built into our packages for most Midwest destinations. Reach out and we'll let you know what that looks like for your date and location.

We arrive early, while the day is still taking shape. We hear your story from the people who know it best. We fall into conversation with your family, your friends. By the time you walk down the aisle, we’re already part of the rhythm of the day.
And because of that, nothing feels forced.
You don’t have to perform. You don’t have to think about where to stand or when to smile. You’re free to be fully there, with each other, and with the people who matter most.
What we create reflects that.

We used Andreoni Photography for our engagement photos and knew we hired the right people for our wedding. Dom and Nelly are a great team. They constantly feed off of one another. If one has an idea, the other will have a small suggestion that completes the shot. Dom’s creative skills created unique shots that were specific for our wedding and venue. These photos were an added bonus beyond the standard wedding photos. Nelly went above and beyond making sure my dress was taken care of and set up for photos. Documentary at heart, editorial in finish. We move quietly, direct gently when it helps, and edit toward a timeless palette.

We try and keep it around 20-25. We’d rather give each couple our full attention than fit more onto the calendar.
